Top 10 Dangerous Dogs

Top 10 Most Dangerous Dog Breeds

1. Pit Bulls

Pit bulls are very unpredictable and are notorious for their voracious behavior. They are considered dangerous because when they attack, they don’t leave the victim and never loose their hold while biting a person. Their appearance is also very threatening as they have bulky body and weigh 55-65 lbs. Their jaws are too strong that they can kill the victim only with their jaws. They mostly attack on throat which is the most delicate part of human body.

2. Rottweilers

They are calm yet fearless and alert dogs. They only become violent if appropriate training is not given to them or they are maltreated. Their bite force is considered to be very strong. A Rottweiler is self-confident and responds quietly and with a wait-and-see attitude to influences in its environment. It has an inherent desire to protect home and family, and is an intelligent dog of extreme hardness and adaptability with a strong willingness to work, making them especially suited as a companion, guardian and general all-purpose dog.

3. German Shepherds
German Shepherds are highly active dogs, and described in breed standards as self-assured. The breed is marked by a willingness to learn and an eagerness to have a purpose. Shepherds have a loyal nature and bond well with people they know. However, they can become over-protective of their family and territory, especially if not socialized correctly. An aloof personality makes them approachable, but not inclined to become immediate friends with strangers. German Shepherds are highly intelligent and obedient and some people think they require a “firm hand”, but more recent research into training methods has shown they respond as well, if not better, to reward based training methods.

4. Huskies

Huskies are proved very dangerous dogs if suitable training is not given to them. Their eyes resemble to that of wolves. They are very energetic dogs and need lot of bodily exercise. They are mostly kept as watch dogs as they have impulsive behavior and this behavior sometimes stimulate them to attack causing severe injuries. This is the reason they are included in the list of top ten vicious dogs.
Despite of their energy and intelligence this breed is not regarded a good guard dog. It is caused by its kind temperament and personality characteristics.

5. Alaskan Malamutes

This breed requires a lot of exercises to be happy as being bored they become disobedient. On the whole their characteristic features are energy and activity.
The Malamute is generally slower in long-distance dogsled racing against smaller and faster breeds and their working usefulness is limited to freighting or traveling over long distances at a far slower rate than that required for racing. They can also help move heavy objects over shorter distances.

6. Doberman Pinschers

The Doberman Pinscher or Doberman is a breed of domestic dog. Dobermann Pinschers are among the most common of pet breeds, and the breed is well known as an intelligent, alert, and loyal companion dog. Although once commonly used as guard dogs or police dogs, this is less common today. In many countries, Dobermann Pinschers are one of the most recognizable breeds, in part because of their actual roles in society, and in part because of media attention.  Careful breeding has improved the disposition of this breed, and the modern Dobermann Pinscher is an energetic and lively breed suitable for companionship and family life

They are very smart and intelligent dogs and don’t allow any unfamiliar person to enter into their master’s home.

9. Boxer

These dogs are intelligent, frisky and full of energy. It is not so easy to train them as they are self-willed breed. In addition, boxers are not typically aggressive by nature.
They like to walk but their master should always keep in mind the leash especially when they are in public because they can show aggression and harm unfamiliar people. In spite of all its characteristics, he still loves and recognizes every member of the family.

The Importance of Being Skeptical

One problem that will always face us as human beings is who to believe when presented with a variety of differing viewpoints. Action on these can be drastic, with severe social, economical, and environmental impacts.

We are currently being presented with the future of the planet in our hands. People say that human actions are causing what’s known as “anthropogenic climate change” – basically equating to human CO2 emissions causing an increase in global temperatures.

The problem with this is that world governments are being put under pressure to cut human carbon dioxide emissions, threatening industrial and agricultural sectors when still very little is known about the connection between what we as humans output, and how this affects natural climate cycles.
